Specialty Subjects
A truly well-rounded education must nourish the body and soul as well as the mind. We believe in the value of exposing children to the arts as well as to opportunities for exercise and physical competition.
Art
Art projects allow students to explore their individual creativity, while art appreciation develops skills for understanding form, style, and structure. Art influences student life by fostering individuality and free thinking.
Music
Our music program builds musical skills through singing, instrument playing, movement, critical listening, and creativity. Music appreciation enriches students through discovery and sonic exploration. Music allows students to be inspired and grow through their own individual expression.
Physical Education
Organized physical education gets children exercising regularly. We teach students important concepts of teamwork and sportsmanship, as well as promoting general health and well-being.
Computer Sciences
In today’s fast-paced world, understanding how to utilize technology is paramount to success. Keyboarding skills, understanding safe practices while surfing the internet or using social media, and a general knowledge of how computer sciences impact us are necessary skills in our technology driven society. We provide students the skills needed to integrate technology successfully into their daily life both in and outside of the school environment.
