We are a tuition-free, public charter school serving K-9 students in northeast Columbus and surrounding suburbs.
Full-Day Kindergarten
Our rigorous academic program exceeds Ohio state standards to prepare students for college and career. We observe an extended school day and extended school year. We exceed the 920 hours per school year required by the Ohio Department of Education in order to maximize learning time. We also offer full-day kindergarten.

Cornerstone students come from all areas of central Ohio and from a variety of backgrounds. Our students are ethnically, socio-economically, and academically diverse.

Our experience with Cornerstone Academy has been both excellent and exciting. With a top-notch curriculum and academic rigor coupled with expanding student extracurriculars and structure, we feel very fortunate to be surrounded by a team of supportive and compassionate teachers, staff, and parents. In addition, we continue to be impressed with the level of concern and care provided to our family, in an effort to build a community that is working together for the betterment of students, both academically as well as personally.

The battle of the bee is happening in the wolves’ den in a matter of minutes. Best of luck to our 49 school contestants. We are proud of each one of you. 🐝 Last year’s national winning word was koinonia which means intimate spiritual communion and participative sharing in a common religious commitment and spiritual community. AW-HOO to that challenge! 🐾🐝🐾UPDATE: After 2 rounds, there are 42 spellers who continue to battle the bee.
Together on Tuesdays: Resolutions
The turn of the calendar brings the buzz of resolutions, goals, ways to be healthier, how to clear the clutter and more. But what if you switched it so you and your wolf are thinking about making a positive impact. Instead of “I want to be kinder,” you replace it with the goal “I will sit next to someone new at lunch.” Replace “I want to get a better math grade” with “I will practice my math facts everyday for 10 minutes.” Check out the link from Parents magazine to learn more ways to shift your focus.

FRI-YAY! You made it to the weekend! We hope the two days back energized you for the weeks ahead. Wolves are ready to make an impact. 🐾 Continue that energy over the weekend with your family by taking advantage of the temperate January weather. The Wildlights are still twinkling at the zoo and the Metro Parks have miles of paved and wooded trails to explore. AW-HOO!
