Cornerstone Academy Celebrates 5 Honors at 2026 Accely Awards Dinner

Cornerstone Academy had a standout showing at the annual Accely Awards Dinner on July 7, earning 5 awards and recognitions for operational excellence, educator excellence, whole-school impact, and state-recognized academic excellence.

The school was inducted into the ACCEL Hall of Fame, one of the highest honors awarded through The Accelys. Hall of Fame recognition celebrates schools that have demonstrated sustained excellence in academic performance, enrollment strength, and long-term school impact over multiple years.

Cornerstone Academy was named an ACCEL Platinum School, a distinction reserved for schools demonstrating exceptional academic achievement, year-over-year enrollment growth, and strong student retention.

The school received the Outstanding Student Attendance award, which celebrates schools where students consistently show up ready to learn. Strong attendance reflects student engagement, family partnership, and a school culture where learning is prioritized every day.

Adding to the celebration, Lindsey Lechner of Cornerstone Academy was named High School Teacher of the Year, honoring excellence in instruction, school culture, family engagement, and student outcomes.

During the award dinner, ACCEL Schools additionally recognized Cornerstone Academy for receiving Ohio Quality Community School Support Grant from the State of Ohio this past year for its performance in the 2024–25 school year.

Held annually, The Accelys celebrate standout achievements across ACCEL Schools in areas such as academic growth, student achievement, enrollment, attendance, teacher excellence, school culture, leadership, and whole-school impact.

Congratulations to Cornerstone Academy on a standout year and well-earned recognition.
