Cornerstone Academy is excited to announce that we are now using SchoolMessenger, an automated messaging system, to make attendance, announcement, and inclement weather calls. We initiated the automated system for attendance calls on Thursday, September 3. This system will call the default numbers which are listed in our database, based on the priority set up by you. In order to change the information we have on file for you, you will need to access it via the PowerSchool Parent Portal account you have created for your child.
To update your contact information, log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal and scroll down until you see the Contact Manager option on the left side of the screen. Once that is selected, you will see two tabs. Click on the “Contacts” tab and it will display your child’s name. There is an edit option to the right of your child’s name. Clicking on that will display the page with your contact numbers, emails, texting numbers and options. Please make your desired selections and save them.
If you do not have the access information for your child’s PowerSchool account, please contact your child’s teacher. They should have that available for you or can obtain it for you.
Please take some time over the next week or so and update your information so that we may make full use of this new system. Your feedback is always appreciated.
